Raise4Fun was born as a solution to address some fundamental problems in every community. The whole concept behind our program stemmed from our own personal experiences in fundraising -- over and over again, we have come up against the following problems:
- Having to sell grossly over priced chocolates, etc. to help raise funds.
- Feeling obligated to buy raffle tickets for items we don’t even want.
- Feeling guilty when we can’t afford the time or expense to support a worthy cause, when a volunteer promoter stops us on the street.
- Having to do the ‘lion’s share’ of the work in fundraising committees.
We're also saddened that huge companies put our local shops out of business. The big companies monopolise the market, squeezing out our hard working locals. And it's a standard today that even small businesses are expected to have a website... yet most websites don't attract local customers.
Raise4Fun is changing all of this, one community at a time.
We've harnessed the power of the Internet to make it work at the local level. Our concept is very clever, yet reallysimple -- at the same time.
Using the Internet to raise funds is not a new concept. But one vital aspect of our program -- that makes us unlike all the rest -- is the integration of local Agents to take care of the needs of each Area. The addition of this human element, at the local level, ensures that Raise4Fun will work smoothly for all businesses and charities regardless of anyone’s level of technical skill.
This is why we are seeking self-motivated, caring individuals who want to help their own communties across the English-speaking world.
